Since 2020 moved my Yoga class to ONLINE via Zoom. If you are new to my classes, or not joined me Online before, then your first class is free. The online class is on Thursdays - 7.00pm - 8.30pm.

Slow Yoga combined with Scaravelli-inspired Yoga is like Engineering for the body and mind! I am not part of the fitness industry [I used to be !], I no longer teach all that bendy stuff with unnecessary over-stretching. Not even sun salutations, shoulder stands or all those hip openers!!! So it is not power yoga or fitness yoga and you can learn in the safety and comfort of your own environment with no driving home afterwards.

Contra-indications. Not suitable for pregnancy. And anyone with hip replacements, please make only small moves within the hip, especially in the seated poses.

The fees are per household which means you can practice with family members or a friend or two.

The Yoga I teach makes deep changes for student's depression, anxiety, loneliness and feeling disconnected from so much just now. I am originally from Derbyshire and have been on Lewis for 20 years. Teaching online is not the same as face to face and I have to adapt the lesson plans to suit, as I am not in the room to 'adjust' you. However, this slow style means you have time for the body to be able to make its own micro adjustments. Joints are not taken beyond their range, but slow can be challenging! Slowing down means you have to pay real attention - true mindfulness.
